Acts:6:1-15

A) THE TESTEMONY OF STEPHAN:

1)      SEE HIM SERVING: VS.8

He had faith and power from the Holy Gost.

2)      SEE HIM SUFFERING: Chap.7:55-60

He was like his Master Matt.26:59. They also hated him without cause. His fulness of the Holy Spirit stir the carnal mind.

B) THE TEACHING OF STEPHAN: 7:51-60

1) HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE SCRIPTURE:

He was clear and grasp the purpose of God in O.T. history.

2) HIS FAITHFULNESS: 51-53

Showed them there stifneckness, eternaty stands before him. They are in awfulle state resisting the Holy Spirit.

3)      HIS VISION: 54-55

 They gnashed on him with there teeth, he saw the glory of God.

4)      HIS MARTHYRDOM: 57-60

They stoned Stephan and he calling upon God saying ….

“Lord lay not this sin to there charge.”

5)      HIS MERCIFULNESS: 59-60

He kneeled down and pray for them.

C) THE ACCUSATION AGAINST STEPHAN:

1)      THAT HE BLASFIEMED AGAINST MOSES:

Stephan agknowledge the Jewish laws and Moses. He also show that God had prepared a way of escape.Valse accosation.

2)      THEY ACCUSE HIM OF BLASPHIEMING AGAINST

      THE TEMPEL:         

The Jews knew the value of the tempel, that God dwells within it but did not realise that He was not there anymore. Stephan show them that god was also in the Tabernacel

3)      THEN THEY ACCUSE HI OF SINNING AGAINST THE LAW:

Stephan show the purpose of the true chuch but show them out of there history how they constantly appose the prophets due to there wicked hearts.

4)      THEN THEY ACCUSE HIM THAT HE SAY THAT THE LORD JESUS WIL BREAK DOWN ALL THE TRADSION OF THE JEWS WHICH WAS GIVEN BY GOD TO MOSES:

Just as they did with the Lord Jesus. Stephan show them there wrongness and put focus on the condition of there hearts.

JESUS STOOD UP AND INTERVENE FOR HIM. THEY STONED HIM BUT PAULS GOT SAVED THROUGH THIS.
